Closing - Friday May 26th

1)We received the keys at 6:30pm. The previous owners failed to vacuum or remove trash from the house and yard, but I am cutting them some slack since they are also military and per our new neighbor, the movers were late and the family had to catch their flights before the movers were finshed. We are familiar with the difficulties surrounding this.
But, it becomes clear to us, that the previous owners did not give a rat's tail about the state of their house. But this is great for us, since some cosmetic upkeep should get us some profit. We are planning to sell in two years when Ken is done with his residency and go overseas (Europe or Japan). For the future grandparents out there, this does not mean we will be strangers. I assume you would be up for visiting on our dollar and I can always catch free military flights back to the US often. Our future child/ren will be avid little fliers.
2) Ken knocks down the partial wall separting the family room in half and gets some masculine satisfaction from soing so. It is so fun to be home owners!
3) We went to Home Depot and picked out paint for the living and family rooms (you'll see colors in future pics).
