Deathly Hallows Predictions

I just wanted to write them down so I can discuss with ya'll what you're thinking. First, Snape is DEFINITELY good. I think Dumbledore will be more powerful dead than alive (aka Obi Wan). I think there will also be a visit from ghost Sirius, since it was his brother who got close to Voldemort and probably knows where/what the horcruxes are. We are given the hint regarding Regulas Black with the initials at the end of book 6. I think Snape also has some knowledge of the horcruxes. Harry most certainly won't die, but I think Snape is going down, and Hagrid.
Thus ends my thoughts, but here is an interesting one out on the internet...
What if Harry's scar is a horcrux? Rather than killing himself to save the magical world, he can zap the scar, but will lose his own magical powers in the process. (Again, I didn't come up with that).

"Summer" at the Winery

Ree, a friend of mine from work, and I saw Madeleine Peyroux at the Chateau Ste Michelle Winery in Woodinville. Music and wine was great, but weather not so much. Summer really is July, Aug, and Sept here so hopefully some warmer weekends are on the way.

Job and Navylife Update

Ken is finishing his second year in the Navy family medicine residency out here in Bremerton. His third and final year will start in July. We should know next December where we will be heading a YEAR from this July, hopefully Europe or Japan. The plan is to be at that new location for 4 years. Children are on the radar, but nothing to report just yet. I, Marit, will be working full-time this next year at two pharmacies- Farrell's (where I have been for a year now, 1 day a week) and Cost Less in Tacoma which is a 45 min drive from my house. Cost Less will be 4 days per week, and the nice thing is I will be paid for my time in the car. Whoopee! Especially with gas prices.

Pensacola, FL

We were in Pensacola, FL this past weekend for a wedding of a Navy friend. Great weather and beach, but there are NO coffee shops! AHHHHH! Also no good restaraunts. Apparently, even if your a millionaire in FL, you still crave po'boys. We visited the local landamrk, the bar "Flora-bama" which is on the state lines. Due to the last hurricaine, they're making due with tents and biffys. Good time!
